| Hopefully the upcoming break is enjoyable and eventful. It's rather strange to think that I have not seen certain people from home in weeks, if not months. Maybe a small gathering is in order, but that will take some convincing (bribing?) my mother. I think it'll work.
Less than 2 weeks until the fall semester of my senior year..is gone. Again, this is weird.

| I think next semester will have some of the most interesting classes that I'll take while at Messiah. Also, it holds the end to my undergrad career. It might sound cowardly, but I am glad to know friends from other colleges have similar postgraduate worries. The entire situation seems all the more bearable given mutual concerns and uncertainties.
Grad school? I would love to go.
"Let's step boldly before the throne of grace." Maybe I'll inch closer. One can never be too careful.
On a different note: The semester is over in 2 weeks! Christmas vacation! Friends! Randomness! (insert other enthusiastic, exclamatory words and phrases)

| We must take suffering upon ourselves. Can you name anyone who fought for a cause, who protested, who took the road less traveled, who forfeited comfortableness, AND still managed to avoid suffering due to prejudice, disdain, indifference, hatred, self-loathing? I do not think it is possible to support change, to be counter-cultural, and right wrongs without experiencing loss. Sacrifice presents some of the most arduous decisions we will ever consider and/or make. However, to bring justice, to create happiness, to be obedient, and most importantly, to love...we have to be willing, and we have to act. This, everything mentioned and everything deserving to be acknowledged, is the call. This small note does absolutely no justice to the overarching questions we have to ponder. Yet, I feel it at least begins to grasp what we need to address. So, who will respond?
"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."
